Yum Cha at Your Place comes to your place with all the cooking and serving equipment. We provide all napkins and dipping sauces.

We travel light with minimum impact on your kitchen and leave it bright and clean after service.

All our fabulous dumplings and dim sims are made to order then snap frozen so that we can transport them safely.

On arrival (roughly one hour prior to food service) we set up our steamers and deep-fryer. We always use fresh oil. Your food is cooked just prior to service; duck pancakes are made fresh at your place - nothing is pre-prepared or re-heated - fresh is best!

If you are having a Cocktail Party, the Drinks Waiter will be setting up your drinks table while your Chef starts the food preparation and cooking. Food service for cocktail parties is around one and a half to two hours - depending upon the number of guests to be served.

If you have selected a Sit-down function, once the Chef has organised the kitchen, your table will be set. We provide underplates, bowls, chopstick, napkins and 4 different dipping sauces. At this type of food service, your dumplings are served at the table in traditional steamer baskets. Food service will be approximately one to one and a half hours. Depending upon the number of guests at table, you may require a waiter who will assist with drinks service.

We don't need a large space. Just enough bench space to set up portable burners for the steamers, a small space to put the deep-fryer and we're set to go!
